System Requirements

Minimum requirements for Windows authoring, packaging and runtime.

Authoring workstation

  • Supported Windows edition
  • Windows PowerShell 5.1 or later
  • Local administrator context recommended
  • Write access to the project directory

Managed runtime

  • SYSTEM context recommended for Intune and Configuration Manager
  • Write access to C:\ProgramData\GlobalClient
  • Registry access under HKLM:\SOFTWARE\GlobalClient
  • msiexec, dism and wusa when required

Packaging and publishing

  • IntuneWinAppUtil for .intunewin generation
  • Network access for Store, Catalog, Office or publishing functions
  • Target-channel credentials and permissions
  • Signed product build and valid license
